Albert Nakano
Research Scientist
Albert moved to Seattle in 2002 where he started as a temp at CombiMatrix, a microarray company. He was hired permanently in 2003 and worked on many projects including microfluidics cartridge development and electrochemical detection while supporting production and quality. After CombiMatrix closed in 2010, he was hired at BioControl Systems, a food safety company as a service engineer. In 2015 he rejoined his former co-workers at CustomArray, first as a contractor but eventually as a permanent hire. Albert has a BS in Biochemistry from the University of Wisconsin and a Master's Degree in Cell Biology from the University of Minnesota.
